**Georgian
Technical University**

**Abstract.** Statistical foundations of the quality control of
the education process are discussed. A new approach to quantitative evaluation
of the teaching process is proposed. The approach envisages the elaboration of
unitary scaling systems for students’ scores based on pattern distributions of
the scores of exams. To this end a new
method based on
Equating and Contingency Tables methodology is proposed. The
method permits us to compare the exam results on different subjects and for
different years with the pattern distributions of scores and thus allows us to
define the unitary scale for the exams results. The latter permits us to elaborate the standards for the education process quality control.

**Abstract. **The paper gives
a pragmatic evaluation of the value that security technologies deliver to
businesses. It contains recommendations on how businesses can view best the
role of security technologies within the information security program. The
findings were derived from the author’s observations as an information security
consultant working for businesses at numerous vertical markets for several last years.
The principle finding is that the information security technologies is
becoming a commodity of the market. This change will create a shift in how
businesses view security technologies, as they will begin to focus on achieving
the security at as low cost as possible. The processes of commoditization will
also force security vendors to find new ways of doing business.

Massive quartz diorite rocks of the Dzirula
Crystalline Massif are bare in the revines of the Dzirula River and its tributaries – the Gezrula,

These rocks are represented by the ones of the series of gabbro-diorite-quartz
diorites. The gabbro-diorite-quartz diorites of the Gezrula Ravine are distinguished by a lower content of SiO_{2}
than the massive quartz diorites of the Madjarula and
the Kvirila Ravines. The quartz diorites are
characterized by an intrusive contact with gabbro

microcline granites. The gabbro-diorite-quartz
diorites of the Gezrula Ravine are older than the
ones of the Madjarula and the Kvirila
Ravines.

the analyses of petrochemical constants of the granitoid complex of the Khrami Massif (Georgia) allowed us to suppose that the main part of the massif had formed owing to granitization of old volcanogenic-sedimentary rocks of the andesite-basalt composition. Similar content have Jurassic and Creaceous granitoides, though in the formation of the first ones a definite role was assigned to contamination processes, whereas the genesis of the latter is connected with magmatic diapir and accompanying through magmatic solutions.

The investigation was concerned with Georgian oils. The role of oxygenates played a composition of fusel oil, the heads fraction of cognac spirit production and oxalic acid in the 1:1:1 ratio. The amount of added composition was less than 0.05%. The best result was achieved when 0.02% of the composition was added. The fuel yield increased by 3-6%. The increase in the yield of fuels from oil is of great practical, economic and ecological importance.
