Abstract. The algorithm of estimation of the matrix of pulse-transitive functions of the differential vector model of some multidimensional controlled process was determined. The algorithm under study was obtained from the solution of the corresponding optimization task minimizing the quadratic criterion, which reflects the  performance efficiency of the synthesized control system. The computer modeling of the basic characteristics of the obtained algorithm was performed. The investigation demonstrated that, for the case of stationary deterministic processes, the algorithm under study showed absolute convergence and exhibited good adaptability when the trajectory was deliberately deviated – it rapidly returned the perturbed process to the right path.

Keywords: identification, algorithm, process  control, pulse-transitive matrix.

Abstract. The complexity of the process of decision-making and the absence of an adequate body of mathematics lead to the fact that, when assessing and selecting the alternatives, it is possible (and often just essential) to use and process experts’ qualitative information. A linguistic approach based on the theory of fuzzy sets and the linguistic variable is a promising way of development of the methods of decision-making at initial experts’ information.

Abstract. The methods of testing of parametric hypotheses are discussed. The parametric hypothesis is a statistical hypothesis concerning the numerical value of some parameter. When testing the parametric hypothesis, along with the null hypothesis H0, an alternative hepothesis H1 is considered. There is formed such a test that, based on the population sample x1, x2, ...xn, will allow making the decision: either to reject the null hypothesis or to decide that the obtained data do not give grounds for such rejection.

Keywords: hypothesis testing, population, sample, confidence level, significance.

Abstract. The article deals with the rank test which is used for testing the hypothesis in relation to numerical characteristics of population distribution for a wide class of hypothetic distribution functions. In the case of normally distributed population, it is optimal to use the t-test for testing the hypothesis about means, as this criterion provides a minimum second-kind error for each significance level a. However, in many practical tasks, the normality assumption is not valid, and in this case, when the hypothetic distribution function significantly differs from normal distribution, the rank test has an advantage over the t-test. In the present article, the Wilcoxon rank sum test for testing the hypothesis about the uniformity of two independent samples is considered. This test, in a sense, substitutes for the t-criterion if the population distribution is not normal.

Keywords: nonparametric statistics, rank tests, population distribution.

D. Guramishvili Georgian-Ukranian International University “Iberia”

The aim of the present work is the rigorous electrodynamic computation of the four-port waveguide junction with non-intersecting resonator parts. The side ports could be connected as from one wall, so from the opposite walls of the main waveguide. The problem is solved by the method of partial areas. Having applied the conditions of continuity of the tangent component vector of electric field strength, all the coefficients of the scattered field are expressed in terms of the field amplitudes in side ports. After the realization of the conditions of continuity of the tangent component vector of magnetic field strength on pseudointerfaces between the side ports and the main waveguide, a dual infinite set of linear algebraic equations in respect to the coefficients of the scattered field in the side ports was derived.

Abstract. Carbon nanoparticles were, with ferromagnetic iron oxide and clusters of cobalt atoms, were synthesized via a novel technology which combines the method of pyrolysis of ethanol vapors and the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process in a horizontal continuous reactor with certain temperature gradients and controlled partial oxygen pressure. Scanning Electron Microscopic (SEM) and Auger Electron Spectroscopic (AES) studies of synthesized magnetic carbon nanopowders showed that, in the free-deposited state, in the absence of the external magnetic field, the nanopowder consisted of randomly distributed carbon nanoparticle aggregations 200 nm in diameter doped with the magnetic clusters. Under the exposure to the low external magnetic field (~0.01 T), the nanoparticles assembled into large-scale linear nano-chain structures.

In this article, the impact of high initial temperature on the physical processes during high-speed collisions is discussed. It is justified that, with increasing initial temperature of penetrating coverings, the speed of penetrating jets increases and becomes almost identical to the parameters described by the hydrodynamic theory of penetration.

Based on the investigation results, the possibilities for creating porous hollow charges with higher piercing capability than that of ordinary, solid hollow charges are shown. It is also demonstrated that the porous covers can be used in telescopic hollow charges for obtaining multi-gradient penetrating flows.

Abstract. Systems of optical concentrators increase the opportunity of utilization of solar energy and provide high efficiency of energy transformation. In this article, the method of the improvement of efficiency of PV converters is offered. We have designed new optics for photovoltaic concentrator systems based on biconvex aspheric, linear-focus plastic lenses and high-efficiency multijunction solar cells.  These lenses provide a number of advantages for practical implementation: simplification of the electrical connections, increased electrical efficiency, better usage of the cell active area, and simplification of the cell cooling system. we carried out the experiments with another set of quadratic lenses with dimensions of 190 mm´190 mm and optical focuses of 700mm and 800 mm. In this scheme one lens is above the other with its optical axis oriented 90º with respect to the other. The upper lens plays the role of the primary concentrator and the lower one of the secondary concentrator. In this approach, the focal area of concentrated solar energy was square, 11mm´11mm, with the concentration ratio of 300 and the measured generated power of 6.4 Watt. The results of this experimental investigation of the performance of PV cells under the aspherical cylinder lens with a linear focus resulted in the  measured efficiency up to 26%. Aspherical polymer lenses with a circular optical focus were made in the form of a rectangle. Such a rectangular form allows receiving the maximum solar radiation.  The PV-block consists of 15 aspherical lenses – optical concentrators. In the focus of these lenses (optical focus is equal to 700 mm) are placed the Ga-As multijunction solar cells (15pcs).

Abstract. The quantitative content of monomeric phenolic compounds in the samples of dry red table wines produced by different technology from local grape varieties was studied by high-efficiency liquid chromatography. The test wine samples produced by the technology developed by the authors – by concentration of polyphenols and the control samples produced by standard red wine technology were the subject of investigation. It was determined that, in comparison with the control samples, in the test, samples the mass concentration of phenolcarboxylic acids was higher by 69-80%, of cathecols – by 64-143%, and of vanillic aldehyde – by 41-122%. The observed changes in the content of phenolic monomer compounds promoted the antioxidant activity of the test wine samples and improved their quality. The wine samples produced by the proposed technology of concentration of phenols are more full-flavored and harmonic, and are characterized by richer bouquet than the control samples. The score of tasters’ judgement of the test samples was higher by 0.18 points than that of the control samples.

Having analyzed a number of grape cultivars, it is shown that the high sugar level in mature berries correlates with the accumulation of large amounts of potassium and organic acids in unripe berries, and that, with a subsequent abrupt decrease in the potassium content during their ripening, the potassium content in the fruit   stem rises. That implies that sugar accumulation in grapes is accompanied by potassium translocation from the berries to the fruit stems. Possible mechanisms of such a translocation that is intended for maintaining the osmotic pressure in the berry cells are discussed.

Bairamov G.F.

Azerbaijanian Research Institute of Plant Protection, Baku

The cottonworm moth is one of the most harmful pests for cotton. The schemes of biological plant protection against the cottonworm moth were elaborated. The schemes involved the use of pheromones, microbiological preparations and braconids. The most efficient norm of hanging out the insect traps per hectare was established. The optimal norms of output of braconids were also established. The obtained investigation results were tested on farms by the following scheme: against every generation of the cottonworm moth, in the period of moth flying, pheromone traps at the rate of 9 traps per hectare were hung out. When the number of younger caterpillars reached 10-12 caterpillars per 100 plants, in the second generation, the treatment with microbiological preparation BTB-45 at the rate of 4kg per hectare was performed; against the remained alive caterpillars of medium and older age, the release of brakonids at the rate of 1:5, i.e. one brakonid against 5 caterpillars of cottonworm moth, was performed. The field tests showed high biological efficiency and a better economic effect than the scheme used before.

Mamedova S.R. and Mamedov G.G.

Azerbaijanian Research Institute of Plant Protection, Baku

Rice has been cultivated in Azerbaijan for ages. It plays an important part in providing the population with food stuffs. The selection of the rice cultivars resistant against insect pests and diseases in local conditions is of primary importance. Among the pests encountered in the rice agrocenosis, 9 species belong to the family of Orthoptera, 15 species – to Homoptera, 4 species – to Hemiptera, 11 species – to Lepidoptera, 8 species – to Diptera and 1 species – to Trichoptera. Of 57 species revealed, 36 species fall into random ones, 9 species – into periodic ones and 12 species – into permanent ones. Of the permanent insect pests, the green cicada, which seriously damages the rice culture, is widely spread. Thus, in the investigation performed, the resistance of rice cultivars to the green cicada was tested. The experiments showed that the Agchila cultivar was the most resistant to this pest. The damage of the Agchila cultivar made up 13.9%. The Spalchik cultivar appeared to be the most susceptible to damage, which made up 24.5%. The plant protection measures against the green cicada were worked out. For this purpose, the economic threshold of harmfulness of the pest was studied and a number of environment friendly pesticides were tested. The experimental results are presented.

THE INFLUENCE OF ONE-SIDED FERTILIZATION ON THE CHEMICAL PROCESSES RUNNING IN THE PRODUCTS PRESERVED IN HOUSEHOLD CONDITIONS

Kevlishvili M.B., Shildelashvili I.I.  and  Gagolishvili M.Sh.

Jacob Gogebashvili State Univarsity, Telavi

In the work, emphasis is placed on the influence of one-sided fertilization on the chemical processes running in preserved vegetables. By the one-sided fertilization is meant fertilizing of soil only with ammonium nitrate without using phosphoric, potassic and micronutrient fertilizers.

The mineral forms of nitrogen, including nitrate one, absorbed by the vegetables grown on the soil subjected to one-sided fertilization undergo complex transformation in preserved products. As a result, there are formed aspartic and glutamic acids, and protein as an end product. The excessive intake of protein may cause the excessive secretion of Ca from the human organism and/or the amino-acid unbalance. It is shown that the risk of formation of both chemical (nitrate, nitrite, nitrosamines atc.) and bacterial toxins in vegetable preserves made in household conditions is high.

Karkashadze M.I., Maglakelidze T.A. and Shanidze L.A.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi

The basic functional purpose of special footwear is connected with the protection of person’s feet from unfavorable environmental effects. The selection of the footwear design and the materials for its components, and  the methods of fastening of the sole to the top are determined by a specific character of wearing. Some kinds of special footwear for servicemen are often worn under extreme conditions with simultaneous intensive influence of different factors (mechanical multicycle load, the action of chemical reagents, ultraviolet radiation etc.), which can lead to deterioration of the protecting functions of footwear or its destruction. For more comprehensive evaluation of strength indices of thread seams, the technique of additional tests, taking into consideration the technique of additional peculiarities of footwear assemblage and its subsequent wearing, was developed. This technique allows making a more comprehensive technological evaluation of the thread used in manufacture of leather articles and predicting the strength of thread seams during wearing of the footwear.

THE STRENGTH INDICES OF THREAD JUNCTIONS AND THEIR DEPENDENCE ON THE               SEAM TYPE

Datuashvili M.V., Dolidze N.A. and Lursmanashvili L.G.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi

The strength indices of thread junctions are discussed. According to the research, it can be concluded that, under the same load, the seam of a certain type has the most strength at the least shift of thread. It is recommended to use this type of seam in production of military uniform for improving its working characteristics.

CALCULATION OF THE SAFETY FACTOR OF TEXTILES FOR TECHNICAL PURPOSES

Vadachkoria Z.A.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi

The possibilities for using the textiles for production of technical filters are discussed.   Three best versions of textiles (by the indices of surface covering, uniformity of the structure, low tensility and high strength) were tested. The schedule of testing of these textiles for their strength is given. For calculating the service life of the filters, it is necessary to calculate the safety factor of the textiles. The relevant formulae are presented.

Keywords: technical textiles, safety factor,      strength testing.

A NEW METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF THE AGE OF TEXTILE ARTICLES

Gintibidze N.G.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi

A lot of factors affect the properties of textile fiber. Among these are the chemical reagents used for textile treatment, the effect of temperature, light and humidity, rubbing, stretching, crumpling and many other factors, which may cause changes not only in the properties of textiles, but in their structure as well. At present, for dating of the clothes and textiles found in archaelogical excavations, the radiocarbon method is widely used. However, the obtained results are often the subject of much controversy. Such is, for example, the case of the Torino Shroud of Christ. In the present work, a new method of determination of the age of textile articles is proposed.  The proposed method consists in the simulation of textile degradation and destruction under the influence of external factors in laborotory, the investigation of the changes in the structure and properties of the textiles under study, and the determination of the age of textile fiber by the methods of mathematical statistics.

DETERMINATION OF THE PERMEABILITY OF α-, β- AND γ-RADIATION IN TEXTILE FABRICS BY GAMMA-SCOUT DEVICE

Gintibidze N.G. and Mardaleishvili Z.Z.

Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi

The goal of the present work was the measurement of radiation permeability in textile fabrics by Gamma-Scout device and the comparison of the obtained results with the radiation background of the ambient air. The authors of this article have produced new fiber Fibroin-3, which, according to theoretical calculations, reduces permeability of solar radiation. With this in mind, an experiment was performed. Three samples of the knitted cloth from Fibrion-3 were taken, and the permeability of solar radiation in them was determined. The measurements were performed on Gamma-Scout device. The comparative analysis of the permeability of solar radiation in fabrics of different fibrous structure was performed. It was inferred that the degree of radiation permeability in fabrics depended on the thread thickness and the fiber structure.
