Georgian Technical University

Abstract. The electromagnetic compatibility (emc) of vertical double-wave dipole erected at some height above the Earth surface in the given Ω-area of space is sonsidered. The method of investigation is based on the analysis of so- called compatibility function , which was suggested by the authors in an earlier paper,  being some dimensionless (relative) geometric parameter. It is shown that a high degree of emc of the dipole (or its noise immunity) within the Ω-area is reached at such γi (i = 1, 2, 3, …) values of -parameter for which the  function takes on the minimal values.

Key words: dipole, electromagnetic compatibility, pattern.

Abstract. A modernized theory of simple panel antenna is suggested. An integral equation for the axial current generated on the surface of panel dipole was derived. This equation belongs to the class of Fredholm’s inhomogeneous equations of the second order with the symmetrical kernel. The solution of this equation in the closed form was obtained. For assessment of electromagnetic compatibility emc of panel antenna the method suggested by the authors in earlier works was used. The numerical  data ans the recommendations for improvement emc are given.

The sound  emission by the boundary layer in the regime of critical region crisis is discussed. ON THE POSSIBILITY OF RESOLUTION OF THE PARADOX OF SCIENCE AND RELIGION.

Khvedelidze M.A.

International Informatization Academy

Georgian Engineering Academy

The author offers a hypothesis for resolution of the paradox of science and religion reasoning from his concept of energoinformation duality (ERDC), which allows justifying the self-organization of energoinformation work of matter (SOEIWM) in complex units - electron volt×bit. The author demonstrates the ability of matter of self-organization, which was first revealed by M. Eigen. The generalized field of science called synergetics also supports the ability of matter of self-organization immediately from physical-chemical structures. From the above reasoning, it is possible to justify the possibility of emergence of the trinity of matter-energy-structural information, which determines the self-organization of energoinformation work, in known space-time limits of knowledge about the Universe.

Keywords: religion, science, paradox, energoinformation duality, self-organization of energoinformation work of matter.

THE STUDY ON POLYPEPTIDES OF THYLAKOID MEMBRANES OF CHLOROPLASTS AT LOW TEMPERATURE

Zarkua M. Z.

Sukhumi State University

The research concerns the state of chlorophyll-protein complexes of chloroplast thylakoids and the changes in the polypeptide composition of choloplast thylakoids in lemon leaves at low ambient temperature. It is shown that, when the ambient temperature decreases, the content of chlorophyll a/b-protein and P700-chla-protein complex monomer forms increases. The low temperature is supposed to promote lipid enrichment, which makes the pigment-protein monomer forms prevail. The leaves of  two varieties of lemon were studied. It was established that the polypeptide composition of thylakoids of the leaves of both varieties is characterized by considerable conservatism when the temperature decreases. It is evident that the high stability of chloroplast membranes of a more frost-resistant variety of lemon at low ambient temperature is determined by the strength of pigment-protein and protein-protein interactions of basic components of thylakoids.

Keywords: cloroplasts, thylakoid membranes, polypeptides, low ambient temperature, chlorophyll protein complexes.

For activation of water solubility of manganese sludge, there were synthesized and studied the materials based on the composition of manganese sludge and boric acid. It was revealed that the composition of initial mixtures and the temperature of heat treatment (600-9000C) determine the possibility of formation of crystalline or amorphous manganese borate phases. By varying the ratios between these phases, it is possible to produce the materials with the predicted degree of their solubility in water solutions.

Determination of the reliability function of the redundant element of electric power object

Kiziria T.I.

Georgian Technical University

From the standpoint of reliability theory, four basic states of the element of electric power object, which it changes to during its lifetime, can be distinguished: the operating state, being in unloaded reserve, the state of preventive maintenance or scheduled repair, and the emergency state.  Considering the reliability indices of the system element with recovery, they usually consider the operating time and the recovery time. However, in practice, there often occur the cases when, after a failure of the system (or its element), some time passes till the beginning of repair (time for revealing the damage, time for organizing the repair, delivery of spare parts, etc.). The total idle time is called the waiting time. In this work, based on Markovian processes, the reliability factors, of redundant element of electric power object are considered with account for the waiting time.

Abstract. One of the ways of resolution of the global challenge of biotransformation of photosynthesis products is the production of bioethanol from vegetable biomass by using the microorganisms.

Bacteria Zymomonas Mobilis were isolated and studied from the abovementioned point of view. It was revealed that, besides the absence of catabolytic repression and tolerance to ethanol, these bacteria have 3-time as much glucose-ethanol specific conversion rate as yests. Basing on the experimental results, it can be inferred that Zymomonas are among the most promising alcohol-generating microorganisms.

Development of the Optimal Conditions for Production of Extracts frOm Some fruit and vegetable Raw Materials

Iluridze N.Sh. and Mujiri L.A.

Institute of Food Industry

Rational usage of the biologically active is one of the most important and perspective directions. The R&D works performed in this field are not versatile and do not resolve the problem of exact and rational use of raw materials. With this purpose we considered it necessary to develop the recommendations on the efficient application of vegetable extracts. As raw materials, there were used blackberries, Cornelian cherries, the Caucasian wild pear, the wild Eastern apple, bilberries, red currants, raspberries, ashberries, the berries of elder and arrow-wood, soya, Bulgarian pepper,  carrot inoculum, beet, onions, spinach and Sophora japonica. The extraction was carried out by drawing, hot extraction repelcolation at room temperature and heating. The experiments on establishing the optimal, concentration of ethanol showed that the highest yield of extracted substances was 40-55%vol. for berries and 20-35% vol. for vegetables. The extracts produced have pleasant organoleptic properties, limpidity and keep their biological activity.
