PLASMA – EMISSION SPECTROSCOPY OF FLASH – DESORPTION: ENERGY OF  DNA HYDRATION

Bregadze V.G., Khutsishvili I.G., Chkhaberidze J.G., Mchedlishvili E.Z. and Sologashvili K.G.

E.Andronikashvili Institute of Physics

There is proposed the method employing VHF (110 MHz) inductively coupled plasma of reduced pressure as an optical light source in the atomic emission analysis for investigation of water desorption from the Na DNA samples humidified at different relative humidity. The energy of the Na DNA hydration was studied in the isothermal and flash-desorption regimes. The activation energy calculated in the flash-desorption regime at T=273K, appeared to the equal to 19.5 kcal/mole water. This value is in good agreement with the value of 21.4 kcal/mole calculated from the isothermal kinetic curve of desorptrion at T=293K.

AND VIRTUAL REALITY

Rolf D. Schraft, Claus Kuhn and Markus Mersinger

Fraunhofer-Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA,
Stuttgart, Germany

It is the aim to modify and optimise assembly processes during operation based on the subjective process and procedure knowledge of the operator. This is done by an interactive man-machine-interface (MMI) which is adapted to humans in an ideal way. This interface is based on an intelligent data structure which connects the different layers of activity e.g. product, process and machine parameters. The interactive user interface is based on visual, audio and haptic components which allow an intuitive and useful interaction with the robot that conducts the assembly process. The acquired process data out of the real machine are sent back to the interactive MMI and are used for the subjective configuration process in the constant running optimisation procedure.

There have been investigated the volt-ampere and voltage-capacitance characteristics of Schottky diodes (SD) obtained by electrochemical deposition of Al from aqueous solution of AlCl3 on semiconductors A3B5 (GaP, GaAs). There is shown, for the first time, that the semilogarithmic graph of the volt-ampere characteristic of the Al-GaP Schottky diode is a broken line with different indices of ideality. This can be explained by the change in the mechanism of current carrier passage caused by the complex structure of the semiconductor conduction band.

To produce the wine materials, the mixture of the runoff and first press of the white grape is added to the freshly pressed pomace of Tavkveri red wine during boiling fermentation. The amount of the mixture is determined by the volume of the must pressed from the abovementioned pomace. It has been established that, for controlling the optimum concentration of anthocyans in pink wine materials, the ratio (by volume) between the white grape must and the must pressed from the Tavkveri pomace is 2:1.

Keywords: pink wines, wine materials, pomace, phenolic compounds, production process.

ESTABLISHMENT OF OPTIMUM CONDITIONS FOR THE EXTRACTIVE SUBSTANCE YIELD FROM SOME WILD-GROWING BERRIES

Bagashvili I.B. and Mujiri L.A.

Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Wine-Making

Some wild-growing berries were studied with the aim to establish optimum conditions for the yield of extractive substances. The berries studied were elder, bilberry, snowball, red currant, raspberry, blackberry and rowanberry. The samples were treated with the 40-70% spirit solution for 8-20 days. It was established that the optimum time for the yield of extractive substances was 15-20 days.

Keywords: wild-growing berries, extractive substances, yield, conditions.

A SYSTEMIC APPROACH TO THE STUDY OF INFORMATIVE POTENTIAL
OF WORD-CONCEPTS IN LITERARY TEXTS

Jokhadze L.E.

Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University

This article deals with a systemic method to formalize semantic transformations of a polysemic word from infinitude to a full-fledged cognitive concept in literary texts. This allows us to make in-depth analyses of creating a stylistic effect of polysemy in speech and evaluate its aesthetic-cognitive function. The proposed ways of analysis and the study of informative potential (IP) of polysemic word is viewed from the text-analyst’s standpoint and consequently the ways of calculations might be modified and varied in reference to the sensory perception of the reader-receptor and his/her subjective attitude (emotional state, thesaurus, language competency, intellectual abilities, etc.).

Keywords: word-concepts, informative potential, self-governing system, stochastic choice, dynamic hierarchical multi-luvel system, stratified phased model, average entrophy.

For application of the TlInSe2 crystals as IR photodetectors, radiation sensors and tenzoresistors, it is important to study the crystal structure, particularly the degree of tetràgonality. By an X-ray diffractometer, lattice constants a=8.062Å and c=6.851Å were measured and c/a=0.850 was defined.

Keywords: TlInSe2 crystals, tetràgonality, lattice parameters.

HYDRAULIC PROBLEM OF RIVER AND SOIL POLLUTION AT EMERGENCY BREAK OF THE MAIN PIPELINE AND PARABOLIC LOAD

Kekelidze T.I.

Georgian Technical University

The hydraulic problem of river and soil pollution at emergency break of the main pipeline isconsidered. The equations for determining the pressure curve and filtration flow rate were derived analytically. Basing on the obtained results, the environment protection measures were worked out.

Keyword: environment protection, pollution, pipeline, break, parabolic load.

PHYSICAL MODEL OF THE EYE ACCOMMODATION MECHANISM

Karakozov K.G. and Chikhladze T.M.

Institute of Cybernetics

A physical model of the eye accommodation mechanism is described. In this model, the crystalline lens with transparent electrodes deposited on its spherical surfaces has inverse piezoelectricity.

Keywords: eye, accommodation, model, inverse piezoelectricity.
