This issue of GEN includes the articles representing the results of works of Georgian specialists in the field of optical technology - optoelectronic instruments (including quantum ones), spectrometry, holography, fiber optics, materials, sructures, optical analytical instruments, lazers, technological aspects, etc.
The issue was prepared by Georgian National Committee of International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE/GEO), in accordance with the Project supported by Eurasia Foundation (the USA) and at the expense of the funds allocated by US Agency for International Development (USAID).
