SUMMARY
THE USE OF BAYESIAN NETWORKS
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERT SYSTEMS

Georgian Technical University
When making important decisions, it is prudent to seek advice from others
who have expertise in the relevant field or domain of knowledge. These experts
or consultants base their advice on accumulated knowledge, experience and any
other available source of information. There is considerable interest in
automating this human reasoning process. Such automated systems, known as
expert systems, model the knowledge domain of interest and its relationship
with the available data. Current approaches to expert systems include
rule–based, decision tree and artificial neural network representations for modeling
the knowledge, and density estimation, classification, regression and
clustering techniques for analyzing these models. A Bayesian belief network is
a graphical representation of a probabilistic dependency model. It consists of
a set of interconnected nodes, where each node represents a variable in the
dependency model, and the connecting arcs represent the causal relationships
among these variables. Each node or variable may take on one of a number of
possible states or values. The belief in, or certainty of, each of these states
is determined from the belief in each possible state of every node directly
connected to it and its relationship with each of these nodes. The belief in
each state of the node is updated whenever the belief in each state of any
directly connected node changes. Belief networks are graphical models that
effectively model the knowledge domain as opposed to rule- based systems that
model the expert. They provide a useful tool for inferring hypotheses from the
available information by transmitting probabilistic information from the data
to various hypotheses. The Bayesian belief networks are graphical models that use Bayesian
probabilities to model the dependencies within the knowledge domain. They are
used to determine or to infer the posterior marginal probability distributions
for the variables of interest. As such, they do not include decisions or
utilities that represent the preferences of the user, rather it is
left to the user to make decisions based on these probability distributions.
The causal relationships in the Bayesian belief networks allow the correlation
between variables to be modeled and predictions to be made, even when direct
evidence or observations are unavailable. Bayesian belief networks also blend
prior knowledge with the data through the use of both prior and conditional
probabilities. These characteristics of Bayesian belief networks give them an
advantage over classical probability techniques.

network, probabilistic model, probability language, expert system, hypothesis

Internet - PR is an important part of any
company's PR. Public
relations have a lot of advantages, for example: promptness, as well as
interactivity is an important part of PR. If we take, for example: TV, which
has a great impact on the society, recent attempts to establish feedback from
the stands of the programs with telephone interactive surveys should be noted.
The Internet is
comfortable to use, contains a vast amount of information, it may be a large
amount of useful information. These qualities make it an effective means for
promotion. Another advantage of the Internet is democracy and protection of
network etiquette, which is reflected in the success of your company's
reputation and you will succeed and develop in a virtual world, it is so
important for the realization of the Internet PR.

The Internet acts as a
vehicle for communication and unconventional channel ,
which is characterized by the lack of central organization structure. The Internet
is a global virtual electronic marketplace, which has no territorial or time limits, it is a fact that the absence of censorship is
profitable in the dissemination of information. A similar mechanism is
effective to conduct PR company with using psychotechnology. As
for the PR methodology, the Internet can be divided as follows: mass
relations, group relations, media relations. All of them have different goals
and create a strong PR tool.

Abstract. The paper deals
with the issues regarding the modification of the design of the system board

Academy
Abstract. The article deals
with the method of face recognition used in cybernetics. It is based on the
consideration of the psychic phenomena, in particular, hierarchy of reasoning
by using the principal stages of reasoning. Face recognition, identification of
the similarity between the things or pieces of information and their common
features, fixing them and applying them to new things is a complex process
needing human reasoning, as man cannot realize other forms of intelligent life.
The spectrum of features demonstrates that the recognition (identification in
our case), is given as portions, like in the case of manifestation of quantum
phenomena, i.e. the information is recognized.
Keywords: face
recognition, psychic phenomena, perception, reasoning, quantum processes.

Abstract. The paper is devoted to the
elaboration of the methods for analyzing the results of observation of settling
